Rebirth

Today I decided to pull an oracle card to get a sense of this weekend’s energy. No surprise here when I pulled the Resurrection card from the Illustrated Herbiary deck.

The usual energy of this card is that we are resurrected, each morning to start fresh. The California Poppy closes up each night, just as we do, and reopens, or resurrects, in the morning. Well, maybe some mornings are harder than others for some of us!

How appropriate this card is for this weekend, though. The first day of spring is tomorrow, and the Easter season which celebrates the resurrection for Christians is just a few weeks away. It’s such a great reminder to use the advice of this card. Let’s wake up from the dark days of winter and embrace the new season as the earth is reborn.
